ABOUT US Founded… Arkansas State Court Appointed Special Advocates approved a Saline County Program in 1997. Since then, we have served as the "eyes and ears" of the Court and spoken up for the best interests of the children within our county. We have grown to represent approximately 60% of all of these children within the Juvenile Court System. Status… Saline County CASA is a non-profit organization and is a member of the National CASA Association and an active member of the Arkansas State CASA Association. The Process… CASA volunteers are appointed by Judge Arnold to investigate, interview, and research a neglected and/or abused child’s case. Volunteers then make a recommendation to the court at each hearing along the way – thus providing the Judge with valuable information on the child to help the court make a sound decision about his or her future. Our Mission… Saline County CASA's mission is to have a CASA volunteer for every abused and neglected child in the juvenile court system within our county; to be their voice with the court. Our Vision… We believe that all children have the right to a safe, nurturing, permanent home. We believe that all children deserve the support and involvement of their community when that safety is violated. Affiliations… Saline County CASA is a member of the National CASA Association and an active member of the Arkansas CASA Association. Where to find us… Saline County CASA is located at: 102 S.
